President’s Message for March 2010

Well, did you check our website?  We’re getting better!  Now, you can use it to help your friends become members of PGPSRA (or for both MRSPA and PGPSRA by linking to the MRSPA site and downloading their information).   These groups work together to help make things better for all of us you are encouraged to join both. 

We are still monitoring the legislature and have hopes that they are working on bills that will be helpful to us all.  There is much going on in Maryland and the state has a real money shortage.  Our legislators are looking in many different ways to finance things the best they can….and we are not the only constituent that they need to listen to during session.  We are attending hearings to make our views known and we have a lot of support.  So, we are hopeful.  Please take time to go to: www.MRSPA.org - to look at the legislative issues that are listed for you.

Our March meeting is planned for La Fontaine Bleue in New Carrollton.  You should have received your Echoes with the details.  It will be a fun and informative meeting…..at least there shouldn’t be any snow out there to keep you from getting there!  Hope to see all of you for a great afternoon.
